Enhancing Learning
Every term each class will go on a school trip. Trips are usually linked to the topic for the term. At Christmas we visited Roves Farm, where we met Father Christmas, performed the Nativity with real animals and made reindeer food. In spring term EYFS visited Didcot Railway Centre to tie in with our transport topic, we have also visited Steventon Bakery and Farmer Gows.
Twice a year we have a theatre production company come and perform to the whole school. The productions are always brilliant and the children love the experience of being so close to the action.
Our fantastic PTA, FODSA (Friends of Drayton School Association) often financially contribute to school trips and theatre visits. If you would like to find out more about FODSA please email the chair.
