If you have any unwanted clothing etc, FODSA have arranged a Bag2school collection on Thursday 1st July. For those who aren’t aware, this is a Company who collects unwanted clothing and sells them to other countries, and in return FODSA receives payment according to the weight of items collected. For further information on the Company please click on this link https://bag2school.com/. Further details on how to drop off clothing at school will follow nearer the time, however, they have confirmed that normal bin bags may be used (rather than their pre-printed ones). Here is a list of the items they accept:
We accept the following ‘good quality’ items for RE-USE*:
- Men’s, Ladies’ and Children’s clothing
- Paired shoes (tied together or elastic band around)
- Scarves and ties
- Soft toys
- Household linen
- Household curtains
- Household towels
- Household bedding (bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers)
* We reserve the right to refuse any unsuitable items
We DO NOT accept:
- Duvets and blankets
- Pillows and cushions
- Carpets, rugs and mats (including bath, shower and toilet mats)

FODSA (Friends of Drayton School Association)
Welcome to the FODSA page!
FODSA is the parent teacher association of Drayton School. The object of the association is to assist in the education of the pupils of the school by helping to provide money and items which the school budget cannot cover in full.
We organise a wide range of activities such as cake sales, non-uniform days, Bags2School, summer fete, pamper night, Christmas hour, various discos and the much loved chocolate hour.
In order for FODSA to continue to operate we do need the support of all parents. Most of the events we organise are well attended but the organisation of them is easier if more parents are involved. We usually hold one meeting per term where we discuss the organisation of events and how the money we have raised should be spent (in consultation with the head teacher and teaching staff).
It would be great to see some new faces at our meetings we always need new ideas and inspiration. If you wish to get in touch, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our Facebook page FODSA (Friends Of Drayton School Association) Abingdon
