I am the teacher in Robins, I feel very lucky to get to spend every day with the children during their first year at ‘school’. I am passionate about children feeling safe and secure and believe that when children feel happy they will flourish.
After finishing school I completed a Level 3 Early Years course before going on to study my Foundation Degree in Early Years and BA HONS whilst working full time in a Primary School. I then completed my GTP based in schools, teaching EYFS, Yr1 and Yr2. I have taught children in EYFS and Yr1.
In my spare time, any teacher will tell you how rare that is, I enjoy going to the cinema, I am a sucker for a children’s movie at the weekend with my godchildren. I love travelling, my favourite place I have been to recently was New York, one day I would love to go on a road trip in the States. I practice yoga as often as I can and love buying funky leggings!
I am the nursery lead in Ducklings class, I love working with children and feel very fortunate to be able to go on the children's journey with them as they prepare for school.
I am passionate that the children I teach feel secure and safe in their environment in order for them to reach their full potential. I achieve this by creating an environment that is fun and has lots of practical hands on learning, remembering at all times the importance of learning through play.
I am lucky to be a mum to two wonderful children, Kira (17) and Connor (12). I have worked with children for nearly 17 years, and during this time I completed my Level 2 and 3 in Early Years. Most recently, Drayton School gave me the opportunity to study for my Foundation Degree in Early Years and then my BA honours, whilst working full time, graduating last year.
In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going on days out, enjoying long walks, or playing board games. I also love going to the theatre and keeping fit at Bounce and Zumba classes.
I am mum to Henry and Sam who are at Drayton School. You can often see us out hiding and finding 'Drayton Rocks' in the village. I graduated with a degree in English Language and Literature, specialising in children's literature, when I was 8 months pregnant with our youngest, Sam. I love playing the piano (badly) and am a member of a local book club. I work in the school office and Robins and Ducklings classrooms. I love reading and singing with the children, and supporting them in their exciting first years of school. I also love spreadsheets! 🙂
Hi I am a Early Years Support Worker in Robins and Ducklings and thoroughly enjoy seeing how all children progress in the time they are with us. From their first step of saying goodbye to moving up to BIG Puffins, and all the little steps in between.
I have the NNEB qualification and I did my Foundation Degree whilst working full time in my last job. I then took a few years off (paid) work whilst my children were younger. Whilst off I helped at Drayton school as a parent with different activities, for example I took my (then) new baby in to bath him when my eldest started in Robins, helping with reading, school trips and games.
I am a very proud mum of 3 boys, Samuel is now at secondary school and Alex and Theo are still in Drayton.
In my spare time I am involved in scouting and for the last 3 years have run a beaver colony, I am just moving up to be Akela to run the cub pack where lots from Drayton school come and find very strange to call me by my first name rather than Mrs Hunt!
You’ll probably see me walking around the village walking my dog Barney so please do say “hello”.
I have been working at Drayton School for the last few years providing cover in Early Years and throughout the school. Most recently I have been working with the Ducklings which I have enjoyed so much!
I graduated from Cheltenham College of Higher Education in 2001 with a BEd(Hons) Degree in Primary Education with Early Years Specialism.
Since then I have taught mainly in KS1 and Reception/ Nursery classes.
I love working in the Early Eears, helping to develop children’s confidence and individual personalities. It is a joy to watch children learning and having fun in a safe, caring and supportive environment and that is definitely the kind of school that Drayton is.
My own 3 children all loved their time at the school, Louis (6) is still there in Blackbirds class and Izzy (13) and Sam (11) have now gone on to Secondary school.
In my spare time I love to meet up with friends and family, go on family walks and days out. I try to keep fit by going to Zumba classes which are great fun! My weekends are kept busy by watching my sons play football and I love to watch my daughter Izzy dance!
I am an Early Years Support Worker at Drayton Primary School. I have recently finished college with a level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education. I spent my 2nd and final year completing work experience at Drayton school and through this found my love of the setting. In my spare time I love to keep active by attending my local gym and participating in classes such as Zumba and HIIT as well as taking my dog Bill on family walks. I love working with children and watching them grow to be confident and motivated learners.
I am an Early Years Support Worker in Ducklings. I am passionate about children’s early development and love seeing children explore and learn through play. I finished college with a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years). I then studied at Oxford Brookes University, graduating this year with a BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies. During my Degree, one of my placements was at Drayton Primary School, working in both Ducklings and Robins. I was then lucky enough to have the opportunity to continue working at the school on a part time basis until Summer 2019. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and catch up with friends. I also enjoy walking and have an interest in photography.
I am Mum to 2 Children who both attend Drayton School. Riley is 5 and Avana is 3. I have worked in childcare for over 7 years and am now an Early Years support worker. I work across the Early Years cIasses and thoroughly enjoy my job and I feel very lucky to be a part of the Early Years team. I love watching and helping the children learn new things every day. In my spare time I love to go on days out with my family, exploring new places and having fun
