This term our history topic is the Suffragettes.  As part of this we will be learning about the reasons behind the formation of this group, what they stood for and the actions they took.  Key individuals we will study are:  Emmeline and Christabel Pankhurst, Emily Davison and Millicent Fawcett.

In writing, we will be writing A portal tale. We are looking at the story of the Time Slip- Scarab beetle. We will be traveling to different portals and using our imagination to help us come up with our own portal story. 

Reading this term will be around the book VArjak Paw. This is a tale of bravery and reisilience. 

In maths, our focus for this term is decimals and time.   We will be continuing to practice of all the times tables.  Once again, we can’t stress how important it is in all elements of maths to have a sound knowledge of the multiplication tables.  Times Tables Rockstars is an excellent resource for practising at home.  Five to ten minutes daily really does make all the difference.
