This term we are learning all about the Slave Trade
We will be thinking about the trade routes involved, the impact of the slave trade on an economic and personal level. The ways that slaves rebelled and escaped to gain back their freedom and key figures involved in this as well as the abolition of slavery.
Maths
In maths this term we will be looking at statistics and how to represent data. We will move on to thinking about shapes including recognising and measuring angles, calculating angles and thinking about regular and irregular polygons. We will also start our unit of work on decimals and learn how to add and subtract decimals.
On top of this we are introducing a Times Tables Rock Stars challenge 3x a week to improve our fast recall of times tables.
