Blackbirds - Year 2

Welcome back to our final term!

 

We are looking forward to lots of fun learning. We hope our topic web will give you an overview of some of the things we have planned. As well as our topic 'Through the Night', children will be undertaking their KS1 SATS during the first two weeks of term. If you have any questions about these please do ask.

 

Our PE days for this term will be Monday and Wednesday so please ensure children have the correct PE kit, including suitable shoes for outdoor PE.

        Pirate Day

We had a fantastic Pirate Day and were so impressed with the wonderful pirate outfits! We enjoyed pirate phonics, a pirate catwalk, stories, gymnastics and plenty of singing and fun! We hope you enjoy the slideshow and seeing what the children got up to…

Welcome to Term 5!

We are looking forward to a fun filled term. To start, our focus is the traditional tale of 'The Three Little Pigs'. Please remind children to bring in anything linked to this tale. From week two, our topic is Swashbuckling Adventures. We look forward to seeing children dressed in their pirate attire on Wednesday 22nd April.
